We aimed to assess the platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) and platelet parameters in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
A total of 60 stable COPD patients, 50 acute exacerbation COPD patients and 50 healthy controls were enrolled in this study.
The platelet distribution width and PLR were higher and the mean platelet volume was lower in the COPD patients during acute exacerbation compared with the stable patients and controls. The PLR was negatively correlated with the forced expiratory volume in 1 s.
The PLR may be used as a useful and easily accessible tool for evaluating the ongoing inflammation during stable period and the disease severity during acute exacerbations in COPD patients.
我们旨在评估慢性阻塞性肺疾病(COPD)患者的血小板与淋巴细胞比值(PLR)及血小板参数。
本研究共纳入60例稳定期COPD患者、50例急性加重期COPD患者及50例健康对照者。
与稳定期患者及对照组相比,急性加重期COPD患者的血小板分布宽度及PLR较高,而平均血小板体积较低。PLR与第1秒用力呼气量呈负相关。
PLR可作为评估COPD患者稳定期炎症及急性加重期疾病严重程度的有用且易于获取的工具。
