Conservative therapy of 104 patients with acute and chronic sinusitis included a new antimicrobial drug--Balis-2--administered into the affected sinuses. After 1 to 3 punctures the recovery was observed in all patients (34 patients) with acute sinusitis and in 54 out of 70 patients (77.1%) with chronic sinusitis. Balis-2 is recommended for a wide application in the therapy of sinusitis.
