Prevention of struma recurrence is a major aspect in postoperative management, following struma surgery. Prophylaxis is based on substitution of L-thyroxine, depending on TSH levels. The latter should be somewhere between 0.5 and 2.0 microU/ml. The rate of struma recurrence was below two per cent.
甲状腺肿复发的预防是甲状腺肿手术后术后管理的一个主要方面。预防措施基于根据促甲状腺激素（TSH）水平补充左旋甲状腺素。TSH水平应维持在0.5至2.0微国际单位/毫升之间。甲状腺肿的复发率低于2%。
