Abstract

Bacteria resistant to colistin, a last resort antibiotic reflect the pre-antibiotic era. In this study, colistin resistance carbapenem-resistant K. pneumoniae (COL- CRKP) strains from neonate's intensive care unit were evaluated. Molecular analysis showed that all the four colistin resistant K. pneumoniae isolates were clonally related with strong biofilm formation ability and harbored bla and bla genes. Our result suggested the need of proper surveillance and adequate infection control to limiting the spread of these organisms.

对黏菌素(一种最后手段抗生素)耐药的细菌反映了抗生素出现之前的时代。在本研究中,对来自新生儿重症监护病房的耐黏菌素碳青霉烯类耐药肺炎克雷伯菌(COL-CRKP)菌株进行了评估。分子分析表明,所有四株耐黏菌素肺炎克雷伯菌分离株在克隆上相关,具有很强的生物膜形成能力,并携带bla和bla基因。我们的结果表明需要进行适当监测和充分的感染控制以限制这些微生物的传播。
