Without regard to early childhood self-injurious behaviour is as a rule therapeutic difficulty to influence. Therefore analysis of the joint of causes is relevant for prevention. Among 87 hospitalized oligophrenic patients there were 10 with self injury, their sensibility for pain was considerably diminished at least. Early hospitalization resp. missing or very early deficit of maternal affection and of familiar contacts on the whole are considered to be a risk for later severe self injury.
幼儿期的自伤行为通常很难通过治疗加以干预。因此，对病因的综合分析对于预防工作至关重要。在87名住院的智力发育迟缓患者中，有10名存在自伤行为，他们至少对疼痛的敏感度明显降低。早期住院，或者总体上缺乏或过早缺失母爱及家庭接触，被认为是日后发生严重自伤行为的一个风险因素。
