A study was conducted at five selected rivers around Bukit Merah Reservoir, Perak, Malaysia for eight weeks in order to determine the fish diversity and distribution. A total of 28 species comprised of 9 families were identified. The study depicted that there were significant changes to the fish composition when compared to previous study which had captured 36 species due to different areas covered and different types of sampling gear used between both studies.
在马来西亚霹雳州武吉美拉水库周围的五条选定河流进行了为期八周的研究，以确定鱼类的多样性和分布情况。共鉴定出9个科的28个物种。该研究表明，与之前捕获36个物种的研究相比，鱼类组成有显著变化，这是由于两项研究覆盖的区域不同以及使用的采样工具类型不同。
