[Inflammatory acute abdomen as an early postoperative complication].

The authors give an account of twelve cases of inflammatory acute abdominal attacks which complicated the course after abdominal operations. Although rare complications are involved, they are very serious and to a certain extent instructive. In the conclusion the authors summarize some diagnostic, therapeutic and assessment rules for these uncommon situations.
