[Reducing the possibility of developing mandibular osteoradionecrosis by using a new irradiation method].

To moderate the mandible-osteoradionecrosises as well as to reduce the superflously irradiated sound tissue volumes a new irradiation method was worked out. Performing the irradiation by means of a Multi-Collimator-Ring (MCR)--at mandible and bucca tumors--the radiation protection of the mouth cavity- and mandible half of the tumor is ensured.
