[Osteosarcoma of the thyroid gland (author's transl)].

A case of an osteogenic sarcoma of the thyroid gland is reported. From the cases described in the literature the most important points of interest of these rare thyroid neoplasms are summarized and the histological differentialdiagnostic criteria to anaplastic carcinoma are discussed.
