Since 1981 23 Patients (19 with adenomatosis coli, 4 with colitis ulcerosa) underwent proctocolectomy with preservation of continence: total colectomy, proctomucosectomy, ileo-anal anastomosis with formation of an ileal S-pouch, and protective loop ileostomy. In 3 patients previous operations caused difficulties in performing the procedure. Critical points of the operative technique are explained, with special regard to the possibility of previous surgery. Postoperative complications and functional results are presented.
自1981年以来，23例患者（19例患有结肠腺瘤病，4例患有溃疡性结肠炎）接受了保留控便功能的直肠结肠切除术：全结肠切除术、直肠黏膜切除术、回肠肛管吻合术并形成回肠S形贮袋，以及保护性回肠造口术。3例患者先前的手术给本次手术带来了困难。文中解释了手术技术的关键点，特别考虑到既往手术的可能性。还介绍了术后并发症和功能结果。
