On the basis of a co-ordinate study of 16 periodontal facilities in the GDR, a standardized documentation system was developed for recording and processing patient-oriented informations in periodontology. This documentation system is the basis for building-up a computer-based periodontal register in the GDR. This register might assume the following tasks: storage and management of data about patients subjected to specialized periodontal treatment, problem orientation methods of automated information processing, inquiries, scientific evaluation.
基于对民主德国16个牙周治疗机构的协同研究，开发了一种标准化的文档系统，用于记录和处理牙周病学中以患者为导向的信息。该文档系统是在民主德国建立基于计算机的牙周病登记册的基础。该登记册可承担以下任务：存储和管理接受专业牙周治疗患者的数据、自动信息处理的问题导向方法、查询、科学评估。
