Abstract
We report here the draft genome sequences of two community-associated methicillin-resistant (CA-MRSA) strains, C18 and C80, isolated from healthy children from day care centers. To our knowledge, these are the first draft genome sequences of CA-MRSA ST398/CC398/SccV and CA-MRSA ST5/CC5/SccIVa isolated from healthy children in Brazil.
