A new compound 1 was isolated from the methanolic extract of the stems of the Caesalpinia pulcherrima Linn. along with a reported compound (2) 3-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→4)-β-D-xylopyranosyl-(1→3)-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→2)-α-L-arabinopyranosyl hederagenin 28-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→6)-β-D-glucopyranosyl ester. The new compound 1 has m.p. 272-274°C, m.f. CHO, [M] m/z 898. It was characterised as 3-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→4)-α-L-arabinopyranosyl hederagenin 28-O-β-D- xylopyranosyl ester by various colour reactions, chemical degradations and spectral analyses. Antibacterial activity of compound 1 was screened against various Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria and showed significant results.
从美丽决明茎的甲醇提取物中分离出一种新化合物1,同时还得到了一种已报道的化合物(2)3 - O - β - D - 吡喃葡萄糖基 -(1→4)- β - D - 吡喃木糖基 -(1→3)- α - L - 吡喃鼠李糖基 -(1→2)- α - L - 阿拉伯吡喃糖基常春藤皂苷元28 - O - β - D - 吡喃葡萄糖基 -(1→6)- β - D - 吡喃葡萄糖基酯。新化合物1的熔点为272 - 274°C,分子式为CHO,[M] m/z 898。通过各种颜色反应、化学降解和光谱分析,将其鉴定为3 - O - β - D - 吡喃葡萄糖基 -(1→4)- α - L - 阿拉伯吡喃糖基常春藤皂苷元28 - O - β - D - 吡喃木糖基酯。对化合物1针对各种革兰氏阳性菌和革兰氏阴性菌的抗菌活性进行了筛选,结果显示效果显著。
