[A trial of rabies vaccine treatment of patients with glioblastoma multiforme].

Active nonspecific immunotherapy with antirabies vaccine was conducted for the management of glioblastoma multiforme. As a result a statistically significant prolongation of the patients' survival occurred as compared with the control group. No complications developed when contraindications for applying the vaccine were taken into account.
