Abstract

BACKGROUND

Atranorin, a compound with the depside structure, is one of the most common lichen secondary metabolites, characteristic for numerous lichen families but rarely found in some mosses and higher plants. Over the years various biological properties of atranorin were examined.

OBJECTIVE

This review summarizes the studies on atranorin, focusing on a number of biological activities in different fields. The literature describes anti-inflammatory, analgesic, as well as wound healing, antibacterial, antifungal, cytotoxic, antioxidant, antiviral, and immunomodulatory activities of the depside. Furthermore, lack of toxicity of atranorin was confirmed in the animals' in vivo assays.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, atranorin seems to be an interesting lichen substance, which needs to be investigated in more detail in order to allow further applications, e.g. in pharmacy, medicine or cosmetology.

阿特拉诺林是一种具有缩酚酸结构的化合物,是最常见的地衣次生代谢产物之一,是众多地衣科的特征成分,但在一些苔藓和高等植物中很少见。多年来,人们对阿特拉诺林的各种生物学特性进行了研究。

目的

本综述总结了关于阿特拉诺林的研究,重点关注其在不同领域的多种生物活性。文献描述了这种缩酚酸的抗炎、镇痛、伤口愈合、抗菌、抗真菌、细胞毒性、抗氧化、抗病毒和免疫调节活性。此外,在动物体内试验中证实了阿特拉诺林无毒性。

总之,阿特拉诺林似乎是一种有趣的地衣物质,需要更详细地研究以便进一步应用,例如在制药、医学或美容领域。
