Herein, we investigated that sheet-like TiO mesocrystals with controllable nanothorns on the {101} facet during the topotactic transformation exhibit facet-induced charge separation and anisotropic electron flow, realizing the superior facet-dependent photocatalysis in solar energy conversion.
