Symptomatic hypocalcaemia is an uncommon finding in patients with malignant tumours. We describe a patient with advanced metastatic breast cancer who developed severe hypocalcaemia caused by the combination of osteoblastic metastases and a permanent postoperative hypoparathyroidism. The patient failed to be treated with the conventional replacement therapy and was submitted effectively to radionucleotide therapy with Sm.
症状性低钙血症在恶性肿瘤患者中是一种不常见的表现。我们描述了一名晚期转移性乳腺癌患者，该患者因成骨性转移和永久性术后甲状旁腺功能减退的联合作用而发生严重低钙血症。该患者接受传统替代疗法治疗无效，随后有效地接受了钐放射性核素治疗。
