The non endemic Burkitt lymphoma is compared to the endemic type with the help of the pertinent literature. A series of 9 cases of Burkitt lymphomas which were treated and retrieved during a 18 year period at the Notre-Dame Hospital of Montreal is presented. Some possibilities of viral propagation through the dental pulp to the bone are explained.
