Pipotiazine palmitate, a long acting drug, indeed: a case report.

A case is presented, in which the extrapyramidal side effects of depot pipotiazine lasted well over 6 months, and possibly the therapeutic effect for almost 12 months following the last injection. The case report illustrates the need for flexible individualized dosage schedules, similar to other neuroleptics.
