During a survey for the aphelenchid nematodes of North Eastern States of India, a new species of nematode was found from Cherrapunji, Meghalaya. The morphological and morphometric characteristics of the species were studied using light and SEM microscopy. nov. is characterized by having 493.03-681.62 (604.0 ± 80.52) µm long body, strong stylet of 8.65-10.38 (9.8 ± 0.81) µm long with small basal swellings, six lateral lines, elongated uterine sac and tail which is slightly arcuate, gradually become cylindroids and bluntly pointed, 28.24-44.96 (37.09 ± 6.86) µm long with a strong and elongated curved mucro situated ventrally.
在对印度东北部各邦滑刃线虫进行调查期间,在梅加拉亚邦的乞拉朋齐发现了一种新的线虫物种。利用光学显微镜和扫描电子显微镜研究了该物种的形态和形态测量特征。新物种的特征为:虫体长493.03 - 681.62(604.0 ± 80.52)μm,口针粗壮,长8.65 - 10.38(9.8 ± 0.81)μm,基部有小的肿胀,有六条侧线,子宫囊细长,尾部略呈弓形,逐渐变为圆柱形且钝尖,长28.24 - 44.96(37.09 ± 6.86)μm,腹侧有一个强壮且细长的弯曲尾尖。
