Abstract
Invasion of cultured non-pliagoeytic cells by salmonella is illustrated by a scanning electron microscopie study of HeLa cell invasion by This study shows that after bacterial adherence the HeLa cell cytoplasmic membrane shows ruffling and formation of filopodia which gradually engulf the bacterium and draw it into the cytoplasm. The available literature is reviewed and the probable mechanism underlying phagocytosis is hypothesized.
摘要
沙门氏菌对培养的非吞噬细胞的侵袭通过对海拉细胞被侵袭的扫描电子显微镜研究得以阐明。该研究表明，细菌黏附后，海拉细胞的细胞质膜出现褶皱并形成丝状伪足，这些伪足逐渐吞噬细菌并将其拉入细胞质。本文回顾了现有文献，并对吞噬作用的潜在机制进行了推测。
