Postoperative infectious endophthalmitis is rare, yet devastating loss of vision or loss of the eye can occur due to a highly purulent microorganism or uncontrolled endophthalmitis that may spread to all coats of the eye. We report, herewith, a case of rapidly progressive postoperative endophthalmitis after pars plana vitrectomy which ended up with enucleation. The isolated microorganism was which has not been reported as causative bacteria of postoperative infections following pars plana vitrectomy.
术后感染性眼内炎虽罕见，但由于高致病性微生物或未得到控制的眼内炎可能蔓延至眼球各层，仍会导致严重的视力丧失或眼球摘除。在此，我们报告一例玻璃体切割术后迅速进展的术后眼内炎病例，最终导致眼球摘除。分离出的微生物为 ，其尚未被报道为玻璃体切割术后感染的致病细菌。
