Abstract
The degeneration risk is extremely low for odontogenic cysts. The present communication deals with a squamous cell carcinoma of the left maxilla. Clinically, it showed all the symptoms of an infected cyst; but histologically, it presented carcinomatous degeneration on certain parts of the cystic epithelium. It was a true cystocarcinoma.

牙源性囊肿的退变风险极低。本文报道一例左上颌骨鳞状细胞癌。临床上，它表现出感染性囊肿的所有症状；但在组织学上，囊性上皮的某些部分出现了癌变退变。这是一例真正的囊腺癌。
