Abstract
- In smooth muscle of the guinea-pig stomach, intramural nerve stimulation evoked cholinergic excitatory junction potential in the fundus and non-adrenergic non-cholinergic inhibitory junction potential in the antrum, yet cholinergic contractions in both regions. 2. This dissociation between electrical and mechanical responses was mainly due to different sensitivity of the membrane for depolarization to acetylcholine.

- 在豚鼠胃平滑肌中，壁内神经刺激在胃底诱发胆碱能兴奋性接头电位，在胃窦诱发非肾上腺素能非胆碱能抑制性接头电位，但两个区域均出现胆碱能收缩。2. 电反应和机械反应之间的这种分离主要是由于膜对乙酰胆碱去极化的敏感性不同。
