Abstract

We describe a new application of 2-(1-methylhydrazinyl)pyridine as a bidentate directing group to directing cobalt-catalyzed C(sp)-H alkenylation/annulation of the corresponding benzoic hydrazides to form an isoquinoline backbone, via reacting with a terminal or internal alkyne followed by annulation. The reaction shows a broad substrate scope with the products obtained in good to excellent yields and high regioselectivity. Moreover, the directing group can be reductively removed in one step under mild conditions.

我们描述了2-(1-甲基肼基)吡啶作为双齿导向基团的一种新应用,即通过与末端或内炔烃反应然后环化,导向钴催化相应苯甲酰肼的C(sp)-H烯基化/环化反应,以形成异喹啉骨架。该反应具有广泛的底物范围,产物收率良好至优异,区域选择性高。此外,导向基团可以在温和条件下一步还原除去。
