Renal cell carcinoma is a very aggressive and often fatal disease for which there are no specific biomarkers found to date. The purpose of work was to find substances that differentiate the cancerous and healthy tissue by using laser desorption/ionization MS imaging combined with silver nanoparticle-enhanced target.
Ion images and comparative analysis of spectra revealed differences in intensities for several metabolites, for which their biochemical properties were discussed. Statistical analysis allowed to distinguish healthy and cancer tissue without the involvement of a pathologist.
Laser desorption/ionization MS imaging technology combined with silver nanoparticle-enhanced target enabled rapid visualization of the differences between the clear cell renal cell carcinoma and the healthy part of the kidney tissue.
肾细胞癌是一种极具侵袭性且往往致命的疾病,迄今为止尚未发现特异性生物标志物。本研究的目的是通过使用激光解吸/电离质谱成像结合银纳米颗粒增强靶标来寻找能够区分癌组织和健康组织的物质。
离子图像和光谱对比分析显示了几种代谢物强度的差异,并对其生化特性进行了讨论。统计分析能够在不涉及病理学家的情况下区分健康组织和癌组织。
激光解吸/电离质谱成像技术结合银纳米颗粒增强靶标能够快速直观地呈现透明细胞肾细胞癌与肾组织健康部分之间的差异。
