[Application of electron energy loss spectroscopy microanalysis to the study of the spatial distribution of iodine atoms in the lysosomes of thyroid cells in mice].

Electron Energy Loss Spectroscopy (EELS) has been used to study the lysosomal distribution of iodine atoms in mouse thyroid cells. High resolution and high magnification pictures show that iodine atoms are located on protein network with regular polyedric meshes.
