As an increasing number of vitreoretinal surgeons are implanting retinal prosthesis devices, the need to share surgical techniques to ease implantation in challenging scenarios grows. The authors share a technique to aide in overcoming a challenge associated with uveal prolapse in a patient undergoing Argus II retinal prosthesis (Second Sight Medical Products, Sylmar, CA) implantation.

A Sheets glide-assisted technique was used to successfully place the electrode array in the vitreous cavity.
