The rationale for oncological training of general practitioners and methods used for improvement of training oncologists, therapists, surgeons, gynecologists, otolaryngologists, urologists, etc. in Rostov Province are discussed. Peculiarities of various forms of training, particularly single-topic seminars for doctors of different specialties concerned with cancer patients treatment are described. Monitoring proper organization of physicians training in oncology is recommended.
