Abstract

Soldering flux is a common cause of occupational dermatitis in the electronics industry. Several constituents of flux such as colophony, hydrazine and aminoethylethanolamine are contact allergens. A machine operator of a wave-soldering machine developed airborne allergic contact dermatitis to colophony in the flux.
