Two new ω-phenylpentaene fatty acid amide diglycosides, rhamnellosides A () and B (), were isolated from the fruits of (Rhamnaceae). These compounds were prioritized using LC-MS/MS molecular networking dereplication based on our previous discovery of 2-acetoxy-ω-phenylpentaene fatty acid triglycosides berchemiosides A-C from a phylogenetically related species, . The structures of the isolated compounds were elucidated by spectroscopic analyses in combination with chemical derivatization. The pentaene groups of and were found to have (6, 8, 10, 12, 14)-geometry, which is the same as that found in berchemioside A.
