Abstract
This article discusses the integration of video, computers, imaging hardware/software, and radiographs for novel applications in podiatric medicine. The name given to integrated photo/electronic technologies is "photonics." Radiographic measurement, surgical planning, and static/dynamic biomechanical applications are described.
