Embryonal (undifferentiated) sarcoma of the liver. Fine-needle aspiration cytology and ultrastructural findings.

We present a case of embryonal (undifferentiated) sarcoma with light microscopic and electron microscopic findings. The ultrastructural appearances are similar to the few isolated cases reported previously and include features suggesting myofibroblast involvement. Fine-needle aspiration biopsy proved to be of value in confirmation of persistent tumor.
