Abstract

Thermal ablation using radiofrequency is a new, minimally invasive modality employed as an alternative to surgery in patients with benign thyroid nodules and recurrent thyroid cancers. The Task Force Committee of the Korean Society of Thyroid Radiology (KSThR) developed recommendations for the optimal use of radiofrequency ablation for thyroid tumors in 2012. As new meaningful evidences have accumulated, KSThR decided to revise the guidelines. The revised guideline is based on a comprehensive analysis of the current literature and expert consensus.

射频热消融是一种新的微创治疗方法,可替代手术用于治疗良性甲状腺结节和复发性甲状腺癌患者。韩国甲状腺放射学会(KSThR)的专门委员会于 2012 年制定了射频消融治疗甲状腺肿瘤的最佳应用建议。随着新的有意义证据的积累,KSThR 决定修订指南。本修订版指南是基于对当前文献和专家共识的综合分析。
