Hepatocellular carcinoma is an uncommon malignancy in the western world, and its presentation as symptomatic skeletal metastasis is rare. The following describes a patient whose initial complaint was arm pain that was subsequently found to be due to metastatic hepatocellular carcinoma. A review of the literature describing skeletal involvement by hepatocellular carcinoma is included.
