Five hundred patients with trigeminal pain underwent percutaneous thermocoagulation of the Gasserian ganglion. Of these 416 had classical trigeminal neuralgia, 49 had atypical facial pain and 35 had symptomatic trigeminal neuralgia. The patients ranged in age from 20 to 92 years. These patients have been followed for from eight to 57 months. The beneficial results of this operation and the complications are presented.
500例三叉神经痛患者接受了半月神经节经皮热凝术。其中416例为典型三叉神经痛，49例为非典型面部疼痛，35例为症状性三叉神经痛。患者年龄在20岁至92岁之间。这些患者已随访8至57个月。本文介绍了该手术的有益效果及并发症。
