Lucy W. Kibe is chief medical quality officer at the Community Access Network in Lynchburg, Va. She previously was director of the doctor of medical science program at Lynchburg (Va.) College. Gerald Kayingo is an assistant professor and program director of the PA program at the University of California-Davis. James F. Cawley is a professor of prevention and community health in the Milken Institute School of Public Health and a professor of physician assistant studies in the School of Medicine and Health Sciences at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. The authors have disclosed no potential conflicts of interest, financial or otherwise.
