Abstract

Tracheal glomus tumors are rare mesenchymal neoplasms that have the potential to cause malignant, central airway obstruction. They require a thoughtful approach to safely secure the airway and definitively resect the tumor.  We report the clinical course of a 25-year-old man in severe respiratory distress secondary to tracheal glomus tumor and the subsequent surgical management.  Due to their hypervascular nature, greater familiarity with tracheal glomus tumors is needed to ensure appropriate preoperative planning and intervention.

摘要

气管球瘤是罕见的间叶组织肿瘤，有可能导致恶性中央气道梗阻。处理这类肿瘤需要周全考虑，以安全保障气道并彻底切除肿瘤。我们报告一名25岁男性因气管球瘤继发严重呼吸窘迫的临床经过及后续手术治疗情况。由于其血管丰富的特性，需要更深入了解气管球瘤，以确保进行恰当的术前规划和干预。
