The risk of melanoma of the skin may be calculated in two ways: (1) The cumulative total lifetime exposure to sunlight is responsible for LMM in combination with other light-induced skin damages. Xeroderma pigmentosum is the genetic model for this concept. (2) Particularly intense exposure to the sun in early life seems to be a major provocative factor for NM and SSM as well as for the development of melanoma in dysplastic nevus syndrome.
（1）终生累计的阳光暴露总量与其他光诱导的皮肤损伤共同导致肢端雀斑样痣黑色素瘤。着色性干皮病是这一概念的遗传模型。（2）早年特别强烈的阳光暴露似乎是结节性黑色素瘤、浅表扩散性黑色素瘤以及发育异常痣综合征中黑色素瘤发生的主要诱发因素。
