The correlations of the serum levels of neopterin and beta-2-microglobulin with the disease activity-measured by a clinical index-were investigated in 41 patients suffering from rheumatoid arthritis. Both parameters correlated significantly with the sum of the used disease activity index. There was a closer correlation between the serum levels of beta-2-microglobulin and the sum of the index and most of the particular parameters of the index than it was seen for the neopterin serum levels.
在41例类风湿性关节炎患者中，研究了血清新蝶呤和β2-微球蛋白水平与通过临床指标测量的疾病活动度之间的相关性。两个参数均与所用疾病活动指数的总和显著相关。与新蝶呤血清水平相比，β2-微球蛋白血清水平与指数总和及指数的大多数特定参数之间的相关性更密切。
