We have formed a team consisting of plastic surgeons, dental specialists, Ear, Nose and Throat surgeons and speech therapists. Thus all the clinical needs of the patient can be provided for in the one hospital. The team meets regularly to examine the patients, assess what further treatment is required and to evaluate and criticise the work done on each case up to date. One of the most significant features of the team approach is that it makes possible the keeping of good records. Using this as a foundation a team drawn from various disciplines can assess the progress of the patient as he grows and develops. Changes in treatment can be monitored over the years and the results of new techniques thoroughly assessed.
我们组建了一个由整形外科医生、牙科专家、耳鼻喉科医生和言语治疗师组成的团队。这样一来，患者的所有临床需求都能在同一家医院得到满足。该团队定期会面，对患者进行检查，评估还需要何种进一步治疗，并对截至目前针对每个病例所做的工作进行评估和批评。团队协作方法最显著的特点之一是能够做好记录。以此为基础，来自不同学科的团队可以评估患者成长和发展过程中的进展情况。多年来治疗方法的变化可以得到监测，新技术的效果也能得到全面评估。
