Abstract

A linear AIE supramolecular polymer was constructed by a salicylaldehyde azine-containing pillar[5]arene dimer P5D and a homoditopic guest G. The linear supramolecular polymer displayed strong fluorescence at high concentration. It displayed cross-linked structure and fluorescence quenching property after the addition of Cu and recovered after the addition of cyanide.
