A case of cutaneous alternariasis with appeared during the treatment with corticosteroids in a patient having a nephrotic syndrome, is presented. The diagnosis was verified by histological and mycological examination, isolating Alternaria alternata. The etiopathogenic mechanisms and the clinical and histological aspects of the lesions are discussed. Good results of treatment with ketoconazole and topic ciclopirox are reported.
