26 usually multiple Molluscum contagiosum (MC) lesions corresponding to 14 patients (x age, 12 years old) mainly located in face and body, and unfrequently in genital area, were studied. Under light microscopy, we emphasize the presence of molluscum bodies corresponding ultrastructurally to large bodies of viral particles within a protein matrix. Intranuclear inclusions of suspected viral origin were noted too. Lesions previously embedded in paraffin showed a perfect preservation of their viral particles.
对26个通常为多发性的传染性软疣（MC）损害进行了研究，这些损害对应于14名患者（平均年龄12岁），主要位于面部和身体，很少出现在生殖器部位。在光学显微镜下，我们着重观察到了传染性软疣小体，其超微结构显示为蛋白质基质内的大量病毒颗粒体。还发现了疑似病毒来源的核内包涵体。先前包埋在石蜡中的损害显示其病毒颗粒保存完好。
