Abstract

A medium has been devised for rapid, presumptive identification of Vibrio parahaemolyticus . Fermentation of mannitol, sucrose and lactose, arginine dihydrolase, production of indole, gas from carbohydrate and HS can be recorded in a single tube of the medium. Because of the ability to test seven characteristics suitable for identifying this species in a single step, the biochemical screening of large numbers of isolates from seafood, water and sediment samples is greatly facilitated.

已设计出一种培养基,用于快速、初步鉴定副溶血性弧菌。在一管培养基中可记录甘露醇、蔗糖和乳糖的发酵情况、精氨酸双水解酶、吲哚的产生、碳水化合物产气情况以及硫化氢的产生。由于能够在一步中检测适合鉴定该菌种的七个特征,极大地便利了对来自海鲜、水和沉积物样本的大量分离株进行生化筛选。
