A novel cream-pigmented marine bacterium, designated strain YJ-T1-11, was isolated from a tidal flat at Yeongjong-do, Republic of Korea. Cells were rod-shaped, non-motile, aerobic, Gram-reaction-negative, oxidase-positive and catalase-positive. Phylogenetic analysis of 16S rRNA gene sequences indicated that strain YJ-T1-11 clustered with Gemmobacter fontiphilus JS43 (98.3 %) within the genus Gemmobacter and its closest neighbours were G.emmobacter aquatilis DSM 3857 (98.5 %), Gemmobacter aquaticus A1-9 (98.4 %), Gemmobacterlanyuensis Orc-4 (98.4 %), Gemmobacterfontiphilus JS43 (98.3 %), Gemmobactercaeni DCA-1 (98.2 %), Gemmobacternanjingensis Y12 (97.5 %) and Gemmobactertilapiae Ruye-53 (97.2 %). Average nucleotide identity values between the genome sequences of strain YJ-T1-11 and the related type strains ranged from 77.08 to 90.48 %. The predominant fatty acid of strain YJ-T1-11 was summed feature 8 (comprising C18 : 1ω7c and/or C18 : 1ω6c). The major isoprenoid quinone was Q-10 and the DNA G+C content was 65.6 mol%. The polar lipid profile consisted of phosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylethanolamine, phosphatidylcholine, diphosphatidylglycerol and three unidentified lipids. The DNA-DNA relatedness values between strain YJ-T1-11 and the type strains of the 12 phylogenetically related species of the genus Gemmobacter were 23.6-53.7 %. On the basis of the genotypic, chemotaxonomic and phenotypic data, strain YJ-T1-11 is considered to represent a novel species of the genus Gemmobacter, for which the name Gemmobacter lutimaris sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain is YJ-T1-11 (=KCTC 62715=JCM 32828).
从韩国永宗岛的潮滩中分离出一株新型的奶油色海洋细菌,命名为YJ-T1-11菌株。细胞呈杆状,无运动性,好氧,革兰氏阴性,氧化酶阳性,过氧化氢酶阳性。16S rRNA基因序列的系统发育分析表明,YJ-T1-11菌株与Gemmobacter属内的嗜泉宝石杆菌JS43(98.3%)聚类,其最接近的亲缘种为水生宝石杆菌DSM 3857(98.5%)、水生宝石杆菌A1-9(98.4%)、兰屿宝石杆菌Orc-4(98.4%)、嗜泉宝石杆菌JS43(98.3%)、污泥宝石杆菌DCA-1(98.2%)、南京宝石杆菌Y12(97.5%)和罗非鱼宝石杆菌Ruye-53(97.2%)。YJ-T1-11菌株与相关模式菌株的基因组序列之间的平均核苷酸同一性值在77.08%至90.48%之间。YJ-T1-11菌株的主要脂肪酸为总和特征8(包含C18 : 1ω7c和/或C18 : 1ω6c)。主要类异戊二烯醌为Q-10,DNA G+C含量为65.6 mol%。极性脂质谱由磷脂酰甘油、磷脂酰乙醇胺、磷脂酰胆碱、二磷脂酰甘油和三种未鉴定的脂质组成。YJ-T1-11菌株与Gemmobacter属12个系统发育相关物种的模式菌株之间的DNA-DNA相关性值为23.6-53.7%。基于基因型、化学分类学和表型数据,YJ-T1-11菌株被认为代表Gemmobacter属的一个新物种,为此提出了新名称Gemmobacter lutimaris sp. nov.。模式菌株为YJ-T1-11(=KCTC 62715=JCM 32828)。
