Muscular hydatid cyst is a rare condition mainly secondary to the cysts from other organs. We hereby present an uncommon case of primary hydatid cyst found in the right biceps brachii muscle of a 36-year-old male. Magnetic resonance revealed no involvement in any other part of his body. Chest X-ray was normal, and no trace of cyst was found in the lung. In areas where echinococcosis is endemic, any tumor or mass in any part of the patient's body should be evaluated and examined for infestation. This paper is the second case report article on echinococcal biceps brachii infestation existing to this date.
肌肉包虫囊肿是一种罕见疾病，主要继发于其他器官的囊肿。我们在此报告一例罕见的原发性包虫囊肿病例，该囊肿位于一名36岁男性的右侧肱二头肌中。磁共振成像显示其身体其他部位未受影响。胸部X光检查正常，肺部未发现囊肿痕迹。在棘球蚴病流行地区，应对患者身体任何部位的肿瘤或肿块进行评估和检查，以确定是否受到感染。本文是迄今为止关于肱二头肌棘球蚴感染的第二篇病例报告文章。
