Abstract

Carbapenemase-producing (CPE) is an important and increasing threat to global health. From July to September 2017, 20 inpatients at a tertiary care hospital in Korea were either colonized or infected with carbapenem-resistant strains. All of isolates co-produced and carbapenemase genes and shared ≥88% clonal relatedness on the basis of a cladistic calculation of the distribution of pulsed-field gel electrophoresis patterns. Rapid detection of CPE is one of the most important factors to prevent CPE dissemination because it takes long time for CPE to become negative.

产碳青霉烯酶(CPE)对全球健康构成了重大且日益严重的威胁。2017年7月至9月,韩国一家三级护理医院的20名住院患者被耐碳青霉烯菌株定植或感染。所有分离株均共同产生碳青霉烯酶基因,并且根据脉冲场凝胶电泳图谱分布的分支计算,克隆相关性≥88%。快速检测CPE是预防CPE传播的最重要因素之一,因为CPE转为阴性需要很长时间。
