A novel Gram-stain-negative, facultatively anaerobic, non-motile, non-violet-pigmented, rod-shaped bacterium, designated strain H11R3, was isolated from the feces of Oriental stork, , collected from Seoul Grand Park Zoo, Republic of Korea. Phylogenetic analysis of the 16S rRNA gene sequence revealed that H11R3 formed a monophyletic clade with DSM 3764, DSM 100243, and DSM 103822, with sequence similarities of 98.8, 98.6 and 98.4 %, respectively. H11R3 grew optimally at 15 °C, pH 8, with 0.5 % (w/v) NaCl. The predominant isoprenoid quinone was ubiquinone-8 (Q-8), and polar lipids included phosphatidylethanolamine, three unidentified lipids, four unidentified phospholipids, and two unidentified aminophospholipids. The major fatty acids were summed feature 3 and C, and the DNA G+C content of the genome is 48.0 mol%. The average nucleotide identity (ANI) value between strains H11R3 and NCTC 11159 (=DSM 3764) is 83.7 %. On the basis of phenotypic, genotypic, phylogenetic and chemotaxonomic characteristics, strain H11R3 represents a novel species of the genus for which the name sp. nov. is proposed. The type strain is H11R3 (=KCTC 62666=JCM 33283).
从韩国首尔大公园动物园采集的东方白鹳粪便中分离出一株新型革兰氏阴性、兼性厌氧、无运动性、无紫色色素的杆状细菌,命名为菌株H11R3。对16S rRNA基因序列进行系统发育分析表明,H11R3与DSM 3764、DSM 100243和DSM 103822形成一个单系分支,序列相似性分别为98.8%、98.6%和98.4%。H11R3在15 °C、pH 8和0.5%(w/v)NaCl条件下生长最佳。主要类异戊二烯醌为泛醌-8(Q-8),极性脂质包括磷脂酰乙醇胺、三种未鉴定的脂质、四种未鉴定的磷脂和两种未鉴定的氨基磷脂。主要脂肪酸为总和特征3和C,基因组的DNA G+C含量为48.0 mol%。菌株H11R3与NCTC 11159(=DSM 3764)之间的平均核苷酸同一性(ANI)值为83.7%。基于表型、基因型、系统发育和化学分类学特征,菌株H11R3代表一个新的属种,为此提出新种名 sp. nov.。模式菌株为H11R3(=KCTC 62666=JCM 33283)。
