Abstract

PURPOSE

To report Descemet membrane endothelial keratoplasty (DMEK) for endothelial decompensation in an eye with previous radial keratotomy.

OBSERVATIONS

A history of radial keratotomy may hasten endothelial dysfunction. Previously reported surgical treatments include penetrating kerotoplasty and Descemet stripping automated endothelial keratoplasty.

CONCLUSIONS AND IMPORTANCE

DMEK may be successfully used in post-RK eyes with good recovery of visual acuity and patient satisfaction.

目的

报告在一只曾行放射状角膜切开术的眼中,采用后弹力层内皮角膜移植术(DMEK)治疗内皮失代偿。

观察结果

放射状角膜切开术病史可能会加速内皮功能障碍。先前报道的手术治疗方法包括穿透性角膜移植术和后弹力层剥除自动内皮角膜移植术。

结论与意义

DMEK可成功用于放射状角膜切开术后的患眼,视力恢复良好,患者满意度高。
